Adventures!

Well, I never thought my summer adventures would start so soon, but they are! Erin's birthday party is this Sunday in a very... unique place! I can't wait, because we'll be bouncing around!

Still, I need to do lots more Contra dancing and more stuff.

Here's a pic from an earlier adventure in Greensboro where Haley is coming out of the bathroom of Pomroy.

I can't wait for the start of my adventures! Because, we all know that adventures are what make life exciting! There's nothing better than getting lost with a couple of friends on a road trip, or going to Wal-Mart or Waffle House/Ihop at 12am, and then doing obscene and outrageous things throughout the trip.

Life just wouldn't be fun without adventures......

And I promise that there will be more substance to the next post (within the next 2-3 days) because there will be a video of me playing the accordion on it. BE PREPARED!!!! Also, I will add something to the Reality Bar too, at the bottom of the page!

Act Like An Adult? What's That???

Well, I was reminded today by some ignorami in Wal-Mart that I should "act my age" which, to anyone who doesn't know me, is like telling me to quit being full of life. Acting your age is something nobody should ever really do. Because, you're only as old as you feel.

Also, it gives you an excuse to play hide and seek and "Demolition Buggy Derby" in Wal-Mart as well as ride around everywhere in town and wherever else you go.

But, I do know my limits, the limits of the law, and just limits in general and just to let you know, you should never do anything unlawful (unless you're in Wal-Mart and you feel like playing with the bikes or bouncy balls or wheelchair things). Hehe.

Anyways, fun is great, and you can never outgrow fun, or your personality.

To think, I almost forgot to post something here tonight! I PROMISE I will have a better entry tomorrow! Because I'll be at the library and I'm going to upload a few videos into my Reality Bar as well as an entry for here!

Stay tuned!!!!

Transcendence?

I have had quite a lot on my mind lately, and what's a big factor in my schoolyear next year is having a place to live. So, if I live on campus, I have the option of having a random roomate and never having to worry about payments. I really don't want to go that route.

Living off campus, I have like 2 options: live on my own and get a lease, or get a roomate and a lease.... I'd love to be solo or have someone I know live with me. It would be absolutely great! However, this isn't real feasible at the moment.

I've kinda transcended money and haven't been using a lot of it... or making a lot of it for that matter. So, I kinda need everyone who visits this blog's help by clicking on the ads, because I get x amount of cents per click, then whenever you visit, I get x amount per page view. I really need the money, so please, do it. LOL.

Anyways, I'm gonna end early tonight. I'll have a better post tomorrow, I promise. *frustration tornado*

Perpetual Waiting

Well, a lot has happened in the 6 months since I left UNCG (and now I've finally decided to go back). In these 6+ months, I have:

*Locked eyes with another and have been engaged in sporadic conversation. Relationship status as of now is undetermined, but we will see.

*I started my job back at Waffle House in January, left in May because I hadn't made but $3/hour.

*Grown several leaps and bounds closer with my friends that live in Greensboro during the school year, prompting me to feel like I am going to move out of my rural home within the next 2 terms and into Greensboro.

*I have mended broken bonds between me and a few others.

*I am increasingly aware of the difference between me, my parents, and my two or three friends in the rural area of Siler City/Bear Creek. Maybe it is true that you really do hurt the ones you love....

*I've changed my dogma from what I was taught to what I've learned over the past two years. It really fits me a lot more than what I grew up learning from an uninclusive community that shunned and prodded those who were different to change. I am extremely enlightened.

*I'm currently re-enrolling at UNCG, because I feel the need to get my degree in... something. Also, I have a longing to be close to an accepting, loving, caring community of my close-knit friends that I've made. They're cool. :)

Those are just the tip of the iceberg, but mostly what has happened as well. But, it always seems that any of us always end up waiting for something. For me, I can't wait for the summer to end. At this point, I am miserable in a rural setting--something I never thought I'd say. Although I love the nature aspect of it, it's more the hospitality of the people that has to do with it. It feels more like they're growing more and more hostile towards me being here, invading their peaceful, simple community.

But, still, waiting is something that I've had to do my whole life, and I still have to wait. However, I have started to wear a shooting star ring on my right hand to remind me that although it seems like you are waiting forever for something, it eventually comes to you, because it has to make its own progress as well.

Because, we all know that a star symbolizes hope and longing. If it starts moving toward you, doesn't that mean that your dreams are coming true?

Don't ever give up on something you think about everyday.

For me, this would mean my goal of being closer to my potential love interest at the moment. For you, it could be something entirely different.

So, I will leave you all with the image of my star ring that embodies that my wish will soon be fulfilled.
